The Introduction of Jaw Crusher
Jaw crusher is commonly known as jaw crusher, also known as tiger mouth. The crushing chamber is composed of two jaw plates, the moving jaw and the static jaw, which simulate the movement of the two jaws of animals to complete the material crushing operation. Although jaw crusher is an old ore crushing equipment, it is widely used in mining, smelting, building materials, highway, railway and other industries due to its simple structure, reliable operation, easy manufacturing and convenient maintenance.
Jaw crushers are often used as primary and secondary crushers, and can be used to crush all materials with a compressive strength below 320Mpa, such as basalt, granite, marble, and limestone.
According to the width of the feed opening, jaw crushers are divided into three types: large, medium, and small. The feed opening width greater than 600mm is large, between 300-600mm is medium, and less than 300mm is small.
Working Principle of Jaw Crusher
The motor is used as the power source. The motor inputs power to the pulley through the V-belt. The pulley drives the eccentric shaft to rotate to drive the movable jaw body to swing forward and backward and up and down.
When the movable jaw plate moves closer to the fixed jaw plate, the volume of the crushing chamber decreases, and the materials in the crushing chamber are squeezed or broken. When the movable jaw plate moves away from the fixed jaw plate, the volume of the crushing chamber increases, and the small pieces of crushed materials in the crushing chamber are discharged from the discharge port. This is a continuous cycle movement to achieve the crushing operation.

Factors affecting the production capacity of jaw crushers:
1. Hardness of materials: The harder the material, the more difficult it is to crush, and the more severe the wear on the equipment.
2. Composition of materials: The more fine powder contained in the material before the jaw crusher, the more it affects sand making, because these fine powders are easy to adhere and affect transportation.
3. Fineness of materials after crushing by jaw crusher: The fineness requirement is high, that is, the finer the material coming out of the crusher, the smaller the crushing capacity.
4. Viscosity of materials: The greater the viscosity of the material, the easier it is to adhere. Therefore, when selecting materials, it is important to note that the viscosity of the material should not be too large.
